Review
Sssnake for the Atari 2600 tries to put a new spin on the fixed shooter genre by placing the player in the center of the screen and letting enemies approach from all sides. While the idea is interesting, the execution falls short due to awkward controls, repetitive gameplay, and unimpressive graphics. The challenge quickly becomes more frustrating than fun, and the lack of variety makes it hard to stay engaged. Despite its unique setup, Sssnake is often remembered more for its flaws than its potential.
